applied in tablet properties rmb to upper pen's button, but it doesn't work as zooming (doing rotation as grip's tip) in the viewports while holding spacebar and moving
though it works as rmb if just to click (shows VIEW (Space to overlay) menu)
looked in D menu and Preferences can't find something related
with previous Houdini versions worked just fine
have done recently windows reinstallation, but it's the same 10 version
maybe something wrong with wacom drivers and I'd better write to them…
when hand is in the white circle - it's as if rmb associated button for pen in action on gif

i didn't understand a thing from your post, apart from the fact that you're having a problem with your wacom configuration. might wanna rephrase it. beside that, everything is working fine on my end with a wacom tablet. my config for my pens, is lower button RMB, upper button MMB. for the 3d pen I have a different config, but not sure it's relevant

out of interest - set too mmb to the lower and rmb to the upper pen buttons -
still the same - zoom doesn't work (doing rotation instead of it)
just have opened Houdini 16.5 everything works as it is with the same pen configuration
have no ideas tbh why it may be so, not sure it's a bug or something, feel more this on my end, but what
even this zooming icon doesn't appear
upper gif 16.5 with pen, lower 18 with pen

try restoring your tablet prefs to default (in the wacom options application) and then change only the upper button to MMB from its default, which is double LMB if I recall correctly. if it doesn't work, I have no idea what to suggest, other than maybe contact Support.

Try opening Wacom Tablet Properties and under Grip Pen / Mapping uncheck “Use Windows Ink”. That should fix it.
If only there was a check box somewhere you could uncheck “Use Windows”

Wow I had the same problem and unchecking Windows Ink did indeed help! Thankms for that! It worked fine in H17.5, but I only had this problem in H18.

I've search for a long time to see where the problem was..
In Houdini 17.5 the windows INK was just checked too.. but all was working fine.
I didn't know that 18 makes it different in this INK tool of windows.
