I've been learning how to use Vellum cloth the past few days, and ran into this problem this morning, and have been unable to find a solution.

When i weld the seams of a planar patch later in the network to a planar patch from curves that are already welded, it completely breaks the entire mesh.

before running

after running for just a few frames (progressively gets worse for each frame)

i've been following this specific video
but haven't been able to see where i've gone wrong. i am on the newest version of houdini, is that the case so this way of welding doesnt work anymore?

The planar patch from curves(the tanktop) is frozen at 20 frames when its welded and sitting still. if i turn off the freeze, i dont have this issue, but the tank top no longer welds, and only the new weld, welds.

What would be the best solution to this?

EDIT:
Solution - Seems like the issue was having multiple drapes in the network. when i removed the first and gathered it all into the last one it seemed to work. feels like that is also more clean in the network, just building each part seperately, then merging them and leading them into the vellum drape for welding at the end.
