Hi, I'm looking for a way to fully reset a matrix after making scale adjustments on geometry and null nodes.
For example, I scale a hierarchy to 100, and I can hit ‘clean scale’ to see a scale listed as “1” again, but the scale is still actually there in the matrix it seems, it just isn't shown. This is a huge inconvenience for exporting out an fbx, as there are no metric conversions on export. So when I bring it into a game engine, I am seeing a scale of 100 still - and this makes working with the hierarchy not possible for some applications.
In 3dsmax, you would reset your xforms, and that would convert the node/object back to a pure transform, and prevent these issues. What is the best way of doing this in Houdini please?
