Hello fellow Houdini Community,
I just started Houdini in terms of my Bachelor Thesis a few months ago. The thesis is about the usage and borders of organic simulation algorithms in terms of 2D and 3D Asset creation/synthesis for offline and real time applications.
In order to measure these parameters and evaluate the results of my simulations I did some research and also came up with some individual, obvious criteria like polycount, resolution, simulation time etc.
Talking about to the simulation time, I need some help from some of you nice people around here.
Is there a way to measure the time passed for the specific simulation per frame? Like a tool or something that shows me how long it took my hardware to calculate e.g. 60 frames of the specific simulation?
I wasn't able to find anything about that topic and stopping the time it takes by hand doesn't seem to be as accurate as I would like it to be, as this is for my final Bachelor Thesis.
Already big thanks to anyone who may help me out on this one. Love this community and can't wait to dive deeper into this magical Software.
Cheers
Lukas
