so this is the situation; i got a 2-year Indie license installed on my pc at work. due to some bad luck i then re-installed windows, and used the second license, which in hindsight was maybe not the smartest move. so basically i now have a license installed on a windows which doesn't exist anymore.

Currently i'm at home, and i'd like to make use of that second license again, to play around with, but it's not showing up in my license administrator. instead, houdini launches as apprentice. If i connect to the sidefx server in that license administrator panel, and try to launch again, it says "no valid licenses found"

If i go the the website, and try to redeem the license there, it looks like exactly what i need, there's a list with all the licenses to redeem, but there is no way to select one of them. i can only select a number in the box on top with the mantra license.

If i go to file- "use sidefx as my license server", i get the message "Something went wrong connecting to hserver: Could not connect, perhaps it is not running? Using old API. Client must be upgraded before trying again."

I'm kinda lost. It should be pretty easy to get this indie working on my home pc right?

the best thing to do is contact SideFx support, they have helped me with licensing issues.
