Hi, I'm trying to post deform a hair gen with a set of simulated guides with the guide deform geometry node and am running into the issue that the root points seem to be left behind and also all moved to the world center as seen in the screenshot. I've tried several things and combinations but am getting the same result every time. I'm fairly new to Houdini and am mostly familiar with the grooming side of things at the moment.
I basically just created a furry ball with some basic hair and guide sim. This is a test that I would then later use on a larger asset where the groom is coming from a different DCC exported as alembic curves. I've also attached the Houdini project as GDGN.rar in case someone wants to have a peak at it. I couldn't include the guide sim cache since it was resulting in a to big file to upload here.
The guide deform geometry node is inside the hair gen.

Many thanks in advance.

I figured it out thanks to a tip from a colleague. I had to add a convert after the alembic import node. Is this a bug?
