Gang:

I’m using a POP Grains simulation to pack a bunch of identically-sized spheres in an irregular volume; everything works fine, except that I get an unacceptable amount of overlap / interpenetration of the spheres, particularly at the bottom of the pile. I’m wondering if anyone has some guidelines for reducing the overlap - I assume that I can’t get rid of it entirely without blowing-up the sim, but I need to get the amount of interpenetration way down.

Thanks in advance,
Tim

For my future self: it turns out that Vellum grains are *much* more robust than the POP Grains solver. Use that instead.

Cheers,
Tim
