How to get Houdini working with macOS Trackpad? Mainly in the Viewport and Network editor I'm missing middle mouse button.

I found this old non working project on GitHub GitHub houdini-trackpad [github.com]

ChatGTP didn't find any advice. Not even the github project above. Searched for "Trackpad" on this forum.

macOS Trackpad - what works now
Tumble/Rotate LMB Drag
Dolly two finger up and down

Surely a lot of users would like to use this.

You could try some software to map a keyboard key for it.

Maybe not what you're after, but I use a Wacom tablet and I use a great utility called Karabiner-Elements to remap the fn key on my keyboard to middle click. Using the small keyboard, for me that fn key has always been redundant and is in just the perfect position to work as my middle-click.

Here's what I use:

https://middleclick.app [middleclick.app]

Adds middle click to trackpad.
