Hi everyone,
I have a popnet emitting particles from a single scattered point on an object. This object has a "Force total Count" of 1 and a "Global Seed " of $F. I only want to emit a single time per frame, but what it seems to be happening is emitting every substep.

I haven't found a post here talking about this, if someone could help me or address me to and old post that solves this issue will be nice.

Thanks

you could try putting a gas intermittentsolve under the pop source. then it will emit only 1 per frame regardless of substeps

edit: if you also want a particle on the first frame you can add the input to the initial geometry

you can also use this expression in Impulse activation
$FF % 1 == 0

which is true only on integer frames, but not between
