Asset localization to $HIP for cloud rendering

Hi, I often work with different asset libraries (HDRIs, Light Maps, Textures, assets) that are stored on external drives or locations other than that of the current project.

When it comes time to either pack up the project and send it to a cloud rendering service I find it tedious to localize all the assets to the $HIP environment variable which is ideally where I'd like these assets ultimately to live.

Does anyone have an insight on how I might go about this? Perhaps an HDA or a Python script that creates a duplicate file in $HIP with a suffix to avoid identical file names?
