has there been any progress on multi-sampled blur? is this a limitation of procedurals in general or just the hair procedural right now?

It is still a limitation of the way we execute the SOP graphs a single time (rather than at shutter open, close, etc). All the currently-shipped procedurals (except the crowd procedural) go through this mechanism.

I did see in the changelogs(20.5.110) that acceleration blur is now supported in the hair procedural, I assume then you would at least get curved motion blur for the hair procedural?
Or maybe this was always supported if the guides had v@acceleration

Been a year since this post, so just checking in - do we have an eta for deformation blur with the hair procedural?

There is nothing I can *commit* to at this point, but I would encourage you to maintain hope/optimism
