My studio is researching on methods to modeling different braids, so I'am searching for a pretty old tutorial.

but I've searched the entire web but I still cannot find it
Specifically, I'm wondering how to achieve this...Looks like his hair is split into two elements: the strands overhead, and a separate ponytail?
