Hello,
I created some minerals dropping onto a stack of small granules.
The granules are simulated as vellumgrain. @stopped is set to 1 most of the time. I want them to be awaken by the minerals, so only the points very close to them can move. For this I can use popawaken in the vellumsolver's deepdive. The option "Awaken by volume" should work here. The documentation says the volume is usually built in SOPs. I tried that cause I don't know yet how to correctly access the DOP data and create a decent volume from them. So I seperate the minerals' geometry after the solver and create a fog volume from it.
However this does not work yet, cause the nodes after the solver are not cooked during the simulation.

Do I have to create a volume inside the DOP network to make it capable of awakening the points?

I think for that you need a sopsolver
(I dont get it to work with the popawake node)
