Hello everyone!
I am tinkering away with the new sticky collision feature in Houdini and been successful in getting the crowds working if an object is sticking to the crowd agents thanks to sideFX' great documentations. However, what I am struggling with is getting the crowd to stick to an animated geometry or character. Imagine a "Jack the Giant Slayer" moment: You are using mocap biped 3 as your agents for crowds and they are running towards an animated, huge (scale x10) mocap biped 3 character and on impact they turn to ragdolls and need to stick to the surface. The constraints are visible but it really seems like neither them nor the animation is recognized and the agents start intersecting with the giant. Is the workflow different with crowds sticking to animated geos than it is with animated geos sticking to crowds?
If you have thoughts on it or ideas or even better if you know how to get this approach to work, I would love to hear your thoughts!
Cheers!
P.S.: I attached a file to show a simplified version if you would like to have a look how the setup looks like so far.
