Hi.
Since there is no way to pause the top network, is there a way to stop the render and continue it afterwards automatically?
Right now I have to manually set the last frames.

Yes, every rendering top node has a Cache Mode parameter. By default it's set to Automatic, which will detect files on disk of completed work items and skip them, even after you've dirtied your work items or closed Houdini. But in order for it to work, your frames need to be rendered as separate work items (or small batches of work items). Give it a try, render some frames, cancel job, dirty items, cook again. Rendered frames should re-appear as completed work items and your new cook should start where it left off.

If you render with ROP Fetch top, make sure you use an evaluation method that creates multiple work items (Frames and Batching > Evaluate using: Frame Range -- instead of ROP Node Configuration which creates only a single work item).
