I'm looking to implement a similar workflow that importing an alembic camera to /obj and then using a scene import cameras with the option "flatten hierarchy" enabled gives you but directly in a stage. ie a single camera nodes with all the animation on it.
The problems I'm having is that if I reference in an alembic camera from maya it comes in as an xform prim that has all the animation and a camera node with no transform animation. If I then scale this camera down to 0.01 to match the houdini scale and enable shutter open/close at -0.25/0.25 it behaves correctly in the viewport but renders with crazy amount of motionblur.
It's almost like the shutter open/close also needs to be scaled down by 100.
I'm also getting wrong values on things like the focal length and aperture where they are also 100x to large.
if I instead go the manual route of importing the alembic into obj and attaching a null as the parent and scaling it down to 0.01 and then scene import the camera not only does it come in as a single camera node with all the animation but the motionblur is correct and all the camera attributes seem to get the correct scale.
Is there anyway to reference in a camera and get the same end result as with the scene import node?
ie a single camera with all the animation, correct attributes and working motionblur at 0.01 scale.
