Hi! Coming from Mantra i remember to keep animation at object level and dont do deformation unless necessary. That how i got good MB and faster renders. Is it same for Karma? How do I transfer obj level animation to lops? I Have asset(a ball) prepared and written out as usd layer. How do I make animation layer from my obj level animation and move my asset around with it? thank you
If anyone would be with the same question - scene import is our friend. Flatten hierarchy options collapses all transform nulls in to a single xform and don't bring SOP geo. That way you have only animation xforms that are very light once cached out.
