Hi,
May be dumb question.
How can i open files from External HD into houdini without copying them into my Mac HD.
I can not see the external HD directory in Houdini whenever i try to open files saved in External HD.
Thanks.
Steve

OS X mounts external hard drives to /Volumes/ so you can find it by navigating there through the file chooser. You could probably then add that folder to the quick list on the left with the + button.
Alternatively, you could enable the Mac style chooser by setting HOUDINI_USE_NATIVE_FILE = 1 in your houdini.env file and you'll see it show up as you would in a regular OS X window.
