Hi guys,
I'm having trouble with making floating objects(RBDs) on a Flip Fluid water surface.
My fractured objects aren't floating correctly as expected.
When I use a single 'RBD Object' as input for the 'Rigid Body Solver,' everything works fine. However, when I switch to using an 'RBD Packed Object' or 'RBD Fractured Object' to handle multiple rigid bodies, they become unstable and exhibit strange movements.
Here is my key settings:
RBD Fractured Object->Physical-> Density = 100
Flip-Fluid solver-> Volume Motion->Solver->Feedback Scale =1
Can anyone suggest how to fix this?
Thanks for helping.

Thank you Ronald,
1) Yes, I increased the exposure, but it only seems to work well when I set it around 7, which isn’t acceptable to me.
2) When the sun is low on the horizon, it naturally warms the sky with hues of yellow and orange. While this effect is beautiful, there are times when I’d like to take control and create a cooler palette with more blue tones. However, I’m unsure how to achieve this.

Hi guys,
The Houdini sunlight isn’t illuminating the scene as expected. While I can increase the sun and sky values, doing so will also impact the atmosphere, which isn’t the desired outcome. So, how can I fix it?
Thanks for helping.

Hello guys,
In Houdini 20.5 Solaris, how can I force the camera background to be shown in the render output?
It is visible in the background of the viewport, but it's blank when render to MPlay or output to disk.
Thanks for helping.

Technical Discussion » How could I export PARTICLES to 3ds max?

Hello guys,
I need to export particles from my Houdini scene to 3ds max. I tried Alembic and FBX without any success.
It would be great if I be able to export particles as a PRT file extension.
I found a tutorial (video link below), but that plugin(DLL) is not working:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFu7HX83HcI&t=1s [www.youtube.com]
Here I found a workflow about how to export to MAYA, but it doesn't work with 3ds max:

Hi guys,
I have more than 70000 instances that are not that hard to display and work in the Geometry context viewport, but when I use the SOP-Import LOPS to bring them into the Solaris, it becomes very very slow to load and display in the viewport.
I turned the Packed Primitives option to ON and tried all its possibilities, without success!
How can I fix it?
Thanks for helping.

I want the background image be visible in the object's refraction, so I add my desired image to a "Background Plate" LOP, and to my camera background Image file tab too, but it doesn't work!

Hi guys,
I need to change the Karma Physical Sky's horizon height. When I increase the horizon blurness, the horizon line goes down below my ground geometry.
We can adjust the horizon level(height) in the Redshift render engine(Physical Sun).
Is it possible in the Karma, too?
Thanks for helping

Hi guys,
I have an issue with the Karma Physical Sky. When I set the "Solar Altitude" below zero:
1)The sky should become "blue", but Karma always shows a warm color(red).
2)The sun should go below the "ground" plane and fade into the dark.
Isn't it a bug?
Thanks for helping.

Hi guys,
In a curve SOP, I created a "Polygon Curve" and I turned the "Reinterpret Curves as Current Type and Order" on.
Now, when I change the primitive type option to the "Bezier Curve", it changes the shape of the curve which is not what I need. I want it keep the shape while it convert the curve to the Bezier one.
How can I fix it?

Hi guys,
In the Solaris viewport, when I use hotkeys like "Spacebar + G", "Spacebar + F" or "Spacebar + A", it should be home all (or Home selected) but each time it zooms out the scene, one more step!
Is this a bug?
Thanks for helping.
