From some artists I'm getting negative reports about Solaris, in particular about a long delay inside Houdini when creating new nodes or connections.

The delay is anywhere between 0.5s or 5.0s. But e.g. just dropping down a node inside a Material Library can easily take +2s, even if unconnected in the graph.

We're running:
- Houdini 20.5.654 Core
- Windows 11 Pro

We ran the Performance Monitor as profiler to see what's acting up. And in this instance e.g. you can clearly see it listing +/- 1.5s on this "node creation" inside a material library, however when expanding that section the insides only report much lower numbers so we're unsure where the full 1.5s comes from.

- The Houdini session "Update Mode" is set to "On Mouse Up" however it's the same on "Auto Update". When set to "Manual" it's instant however.
- The viewport is set to Houdini GL. However, setting viewport to "Paused" makes no difference in speed.
