Are there any plans to change the requirement for plugins for the win32 version from VC++ 2003 to VC++ 2005?

As far as I can see, VC++ .NET 2003 is no longer commercially available in any form whatsoever.

Are the plans simply to discontinue the 32 bit version of Houdini in the near future?
