There's an IRC channel for the matter:
#odforce on Freenode
It's not usually jam packed, but can be handy…

RatmannWell gee wasn't that just nice and all around helpful.
There's also the F1 key, and search functions, and the classic “break down the problem and think for a few minutes”. But maybe that's just me.
Wouldn't you love that exact response if you ever come here with a question?
Please, don't be a jerk, Lyonz wasn't being rude, he just wanted help.

No they have a point with F1 Help which i do use and od force which ive not heard of, but i have found it far faster using msn to talk to artists around the world.
This gets quicker responses to sort a problem, but also quicker for someone to crit your work instead of uploading to something like photobucket and starting a thread, which might not even be answered.
Also there is not as many video tutorials compared with 3ds max, less users using Houdini and building models in it from my point of view.
But since ive been a 3ds max user i am looking for tools that dont exist in Houdini like the shell modifer and trying to find a workflow thats good for me.
