Hello everyone. I need your help achieving two fluids i need for a short kitchen animation for kids here in the studio where I work in.
So basically i'm facing two different situations and I need your help in the right approach i should take to achieve them.
P.S. - The animation is done in maya, the FX part is done in houdini.
1- The Ice cream: The kid is pilling a stack of cookies and between each layer of cookies a shall have an ice cream layer. The idea is to have the kid getting the ice cream from a taperware with a spoon and put it on top of each cookie, then he puts a cookie, then ice cream, then a cookie, etc…
1st question- About the placement of the cookies, is it a good idea to have all the animation cached from maya then just let houdini handles the fluid part? If so, will i be able to use animated cookies as static rigid bodies so the fluid collide with them?
2nd question.. Having the ice in a taperware. It's better to start with a fluid tank right? I need a sort of fluid that has an high viscosity and not melt too much (cause if not melted ice cream tends to keep his form).
2- Wipped cream: This one is not that hard but i need to know hoe can i had internal pressure to an emmiting fluid so it expands along time (like shaving cream would react)… because i'm going to emit the wipped cream from one of those pressured cans.. Pretty much like the cheese in a can… (spray cheese).
Can you help me achieving this two effects. Any help would be pretty much appreciated. Thank you very much…
