I was playing with houdini yesterday and wanted to try doing a burning fuse animation but I am stumped.
I tried assigning a ramp parameter and my idea was that I can have it a 3 color ramp parameter in a vopsop where I can use yellow color to emit particles and red color to delete geo and animate those colors position. Problem is I can't figure out a way to have the ramp work along the lenght of the geo (which is a circle sweeped along a curve)
Would appreciate any pointers and advice to lead me in the right direction. If you have a different setup for the fuse animation I would love to hear it too.
