I'm playing with isosurface and i3d (is it really the only way of rendering volume in H?) I try making a vop i3d shader and would like to see it updating an isosurface right after rendering to disk. Instead I have to refresh isosurf manually, for example clicking on function and on image 3d again. This behaviour is logical but a bit inconvenient. Is there a way to update image in isosurf just after a new one was saved?
You could try turning on auto flushing of the texture cache, I don't know if it relates to isosurface cache or not. In the textport type “texcache -a on”
If that doesn't work try going to settings -> main preferences -> Objects -> Sop cache and turning up the cull level.
The trick is finding just the right hammer for every screw
Hello, I was asking my self the same thing few days ago… and I've searched, tryed the odforce odwiki… and nothing, and I saw this post, so: You got ahead of me!
I think I'll still do the refresh thing myself, is not too complicated!
