I recently started learning Houdini and have been following tutorials. For a while I was getting good results but recently my scene started rendering nothing but black. File attached. I have tried:
turning display on and off
removing and re-adding output node
changing renderer from raytrace to pbr
adding/removing objects
adding/removing takes
adding removing/lights
save-as new file
restart Houdini and computer
Any advice would be much appreciated!

I checked out your file on Windows 10 and it renders fine. I see the airplane and the ground. Under the Render View make sure you have selected one of the cameras.

dselected Hey enivob, thanks for checking it out. I have definitely tried selecting all the cameras and still get nothing.
When I ctl-click on the black areas of the image it reports “no shader present” under the point, which seems suspect.
Your scene seems to render fine when you are viewing ‘take1’, however switching to ‘ main ’ results in a black render. Is it possible you're viewing the wrong take?

dselected Hey sakeating, I have tried both explicitly. I can't get a render in either.
Are you using Houdini on Mac?
I'm on windows. I'm not seeing anything obvious which should make the scene render black. You may want to submit a question with your .hip and OS, so it can be tested on a Mac.
