How do you do Camera Based Selection?

Hi Guys and Gals,

I'm transitioning from Maya and trying to figure out how to do a camera based selection on components.

Usually it's just a tick box in Maya, and the effect is to just select what's in view of the camera, not what's behind the model and out of view of the camera.

So i don't want to select the points through the model, just what's in front.

I think what you are looking for is the “select visible geometry only” option in the options bar when the component select tool is active. The little eye symbol.
