Hello,
I'm working on an explosion flipbook. I thought I'd render the fire and the smoke separately. The smoke rendered fine. The fire comes out as a complete black image. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I've tried EXR and TGA, both same thing, blank image. Could there be a setting in the shader doing it? The fire and the smoke are using two different materials. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So it turns out, rendering the smoke I get alpha. Rendering the fire I don't. I thought that wasn't a problem but apparently if I don't have the smoke in the shader it won't render the fire. Why is that? Can I not just save the fire without an alpha channel?
It's intentionally gray so I can colour it in the engine.
Thank you
