Sorry for the newbie question, but as per documentation, tracking requires a middle mouse button, which is absent on the Mac. Is there an alternative for (2-button) mouse Mac users. Also, how to pan escapes me. I can orbit around an object/pivot, but I can't seem to find the option to pan. I feel absurd asking, but I really haven't uncovered these simple questions. Cheers!

Funny you should ask….I made a tutorial just on that very subject, and since all of my tutorials are based on Houdini in OSX, you might consider subscribing to my channel!

??!!! Oh, man. Probably one of the best tutorial videos I've seen in a long time. Not only does it resolve an issue for Mac users that make Houdini very clunky to use, but it demonstrates the usefulness of the .env file for the app. I had to dig into the .env file to get Renderman working with Houdini. Thanks for sharing your discovery!!!

I can't believe something so fundamentally useful for Mac Houdini users isn't clearly documented prominently. I'm guessing there may not be that many Mac users, but I'm very glad that Houdini is supported on Mac. I wonder if it'll still be supported once Apple switches from Intel to their own chips, coming soon. Anyway, thanks again for chiming in. Cheers!

This is great!
i did find another post suggesting using Karibiner Elements, to bind MM to another key (like Right side, Command button).

I've tried both or these solutions in Houdini 19.5.752
