Hi!

I'm trying to add a vector layer on a heightfield, that I'll use in a "heightfield distort by layer". I want to set the direction to follow the features of the heightfield. But I'm having issues creating anything but a float layer.

I want it to be a layer cause of how the distort by layer is setup.

While convoluted, I created three new layers with copy to layer, named them Vector.x, *.y, *.z. I then wrote my vectors to those layers. What I couldn't figure out was how to refer to this layer, it being a vector and not a float. Mainly because while picking a layer from the drop down there was no "Vector" layer, it was split by it's channels. Manually adding "Vector" in the Control Field was the solution.
