If you're trying to make smoke from an emitter move faster, you can just scale up the velocity field on the source.
If you want the smoke to expand outwards faster from from a source, the most straightforward way is to source in a scalar field with positive values and bind it to "divergence". Positive divergence values cause smoke to expand, negative values contract.
