Hello All,
This is my first post here. Before I report this as a bug, I am hoping to get another set of eyes on my issue. The curve node + resample node is inconsistently working for me. In my attached file, the first curve node gives an unexpected result. The second input into the switch gives me the expected result. As far as I can tell both curve nodes are identical and I am confused why they are producing two different results from the resample node.
This might be a bug, but I'd just like a sanity check before I report it. Maybe there is a difference?
Thanks
Resample node is not consistently working with curve node.

You can middle-click and hold any node to inspect its geometry. You can also enable geometry information in your viewport (Display Settings > Guides > Additional Information > Geometry Information)
Both of those will tell you that your first curve has 13 points, and your 2nd curve has 5.
If you drop a Fuse after your first curve to clean it up, the Resample will work as expected.

Hello eikonoklastes,
Thanks for taking the time to look at my file. I also figured out, that the curve 2.0 node defaults to the primitive type Bezier. And when you switch the type to polygon, after making the curve, the extra points are left on the curve. I was assuming that the curve would be rebuilt using the polygon type.
Because of my process, I was ending up with the two different curves and thinking something was broken. Have a nice weekend.

Yeah, the Curve SOP does not like it when you switch things around.
You can still take advantage of keeping it Bezier and use the handles and the round corners, and all that good stuff, and then just drop a Convert SOP after it.
This way your original curve stays fully editable, with only a few control points, and you still get the polygon geometry after the fact.
