Hello, I'm having issues getting Unreal 5 to correctly identify materials upon import of an .abc from Houdini. I'm guessing it might not be allocating face sets appropriately. I'm relatively new to Houdini so I am sure there is something wrong with my setup. seems that the Vellum Solver node creates a new group and that is going out with the individual material groups. In Unreal it creates a material based off of all the material groups + the vellum object group, and the .abc then uses only 1 material for the entire mesh and negates all the other ones connected. This is the errors I'm getting in Unreal upon import:

Is there a way to prune this vellumobject face set from the exported .abc?

Solved it, was using a split instead of a group delete node, and helped to place an output node rather than using the Alembic ROP
