I'm trying to switch front/top/side views quickly while editing curves, but H doesn't seem to wanna do it. Instead, it switches between points/edges/primitive modes.
I tried deleting numpad hotkeys from Select actions in the Hotkey Manager, but still no joy.
The Set View dropdown seems to be independent from Select actions, so I'm a bit stumped why this wouldn't work. Currently it seems like I have to Esc to get back to View mode, set the view perspective, then Enter to get back into the Curve Edit mode...clumsy.
thanks for reading, any help appreciated
How to make numpad set view while selection mode is active?

Hey Knockbox,
you need to be in the camera state to make its shortcuts work. So you need to have alt or space pressed( depending on what you use for camera navigation) while using your hotkeys. Alternatively, you can give this radial menu a try. it contains all views and you can set it to a hotkey. Put it in your pref folder under radialmenu. Then assign a hotkey to it via Edit/Radial Menus...
Cheers
