Hi there,
I need information on whether or not the order of the inputs to a merge geo node make a difference and if this can be changed in a more procedural way.
Currently I am merging together Geometry and applying materials before exporting to .FBX, but have noticed that depending on what order the inputs for the merge are I am getting different Material ID's results in 3DS Max. Is there a way to prevent this or set Material ID's before exporting?
Thanks

The geometry is merged from left to right, so yes a different order will change the implicit ID or point number. However, you can always just set the ID after the merge, or set them before, and then after merging the geometry sort it by attibute with the sort node.
