Hello there!
I'm trying to find default crowd textures that are shipped with Houdini? Does anyone know where they are located? I assume inside Side Effects Software folder but can't find them.

If you mean the textures that the Mocap Biped asset variations have, they are embedded and can be found in the Extra Files tab.

Is there any way to add to that list of textures my own textures? I did try adding it in that window but it looks like I don't have permission to edit this HDA.

You can duplicate the asset, save it elsewhere, and use it as your own asset. A good place to save it would be $HOUDINI_USER_PREF_DIR/otls.
