I was wondering, is it a known limitation that Karma XPU cannot render curves as flat ribbons?

Yes it is

Yikes! Is it still this way with H20.5.684? I know that renderman from solaris can do ribbons (as long as you include an N attr)


yup, still that limitation. just checked.
