I did this during my internship at SideFX to assist in the creation of a procedural city for a studio client.
With VEX, I wrote my own procedural building tool using building footprint data.
The main purpose was to create these buildings as mid to background asset for city so there are not many details and only rough procedural shading. Destruction-ready with interior.
