orient l-systems copies to point normals?

I am trying to copy an l-system tree to the flipped normals of a poly sphere and it's not orienting them correctly. They should face the interior of the sphere according to the normals but they aren't.

well, they should, but keep in mind that copy aligns Z axis with normal simple example (but if you animate the sphere you will need upvector as well)

If there are point normals present, these will be used. Reversing the direction of the primitive normals will have no effect on orientation. Try reversing the point normals in a Point SOP: -$NX -$NY -$NZ
There's at least one school like the old school!
