I am having a lot of issues with the Paint SOP it makes Houdini crashes a lot when I use it.
I've already tried other builds and the problem is the same.

Anyone else?

If I just open a new scene drop any geometry do some painting and try to use the eyedropper it crashes every single time.
I've already tried in 2 different machines and the result is the same, I also have problems with the smooth operation.

I am using the 17.5 stable build but I also tried with the 17.5.219 and I had the same result.

Anyone else having this issue? Is it a bug?

Must be your system. I don't have any issues (win 8.1 - 17.5.219) ; 16GB; i7 6core

It is weird because the same doesn't happen in Houdini 17.0

Works fine for me as well (17.5.219) - win 10

yep same problem. Not only does it crash houdini, it actually turns both monitors off, and requires the hdmi to be unplugged and plugged back in.

latest creator driver, 32gb ram

Instant crash “Segmentation Fault” when using the Eyedropper on the MiddleMouse button. No crash if using Eyedropper on LeftMouse Button.

H17.5.173 or H17.5.258
Win7, GeForce GTX 1060/6Gb, RAM 32Gb
