Hello, I need to generate a brick pattern on a mesh. Could someone help me get started with the Brocker node? I tried many things but I don't find it in the TAB menu...

Thanks

The Divide SOP has Bricker options. Not sure if that's what you're looking for -- I've just noticed them there.

Thanks. But I can't get a brick pattern with this.

bricker is a VOP, used in materials. Are you trying to make a procedural texture?

Well, I want to use bricker in material.
I want to use bricker or boxes like how we did that in 3DSMAX/VRAY.

We drag a procedual tile texture in the material editor and hook it with a standard shader. Then our ground shows a real-life brick tiling pattern.
But in Houdini, the boxes VOP node does not have a vec3/color output, so I'm confuse on how to do that. There is no demo or description in the document.

it doesn't output a color, it outputs a uv coordinate, for connecting to a texture or noise or other pattern. Outputting a color wouldn't be very useful.

Well as for me I'd like to get some modelled brick pattern on a wall. Perhaps this VOP node is not useful for that?
