Whitescreen Crash on exit

Hi

I am getting a white screen freze when I exit Houdini. Not sure why, it dosen't happen when I open and close and empty scene but if I work for a bit it does.

Any one else have this? Is there a thing like deleting the preferences to reset Houdini like Maya?

I can confirm, I have the same problem.
It occurred recently so my guess is it started for me at upgrading from 19.5.493 to 19.5.605

Ditto.
Opening and closing Houdini, no problem.
Opening and using Houdini for a few minutes, problem. White screen and unresponsive when exiting.

Yes, I've been having the same issue. I've rebuilt the prefs folder and that still hasn't fixed it.
Currently using Indie 19.5.605. I assumed it was something on my machine - but given this thread it sounds like it might be a more general issue.

Can anyone with this issue please report it.

I was about to upgrade from .534 to .605. Does it happen on Windows only, or is this bug system-agnostic?

I just contacted support about this - referring them to this thread. They suggested:

switching off: Edit menu > Preferences > Miscellaneous: send anonymous statistics.
Also:
You might also need to delete the "stats" folder inside $HOME/houdini19.5 folder.

i am glad its wasn't just me was thinking of rebuilding the system.
