I have made two groups at different location for a points on grid.
How can I view them simultaneously? Merging them together in a merge node doesn't help. Adding color also doesn't solve the issue.

The merge creates two objects and they lay over another. Otherwise, why don't you use the display groups viewport toggle?

Why do you create the groups not one after the other in the first place?
You want to see stuff that is blocking each other. You get two grids this way?!?

and to see groups you have to set the group and attribute display to groups via the gear icon...

Make sure you select Groups from that dropdown (should be set to that by default). It's context sensitive, so if you're in point selection mode it will only show you point groups. Also be mindful of what CYTE mentioned: You are doubling up your geometry by merging it like that.

You can use the group combine node, giving it a unique name to choose from while retaining the original names for independant consideration of other operations.

No particular reason. I was doing it wrong. I realized I was being stupid. Using a null as guided by Siavesh solved the issue.
