Hi,
I have to animate multiple static non sequential VDB clouds using transform. Simple slide on Z axis. Problem is, even with single animated VDB, my viewport performance when playback animation is terrible. Is there anything I can do to improve performance?
Under display options, volumes I have set volume quality to very low and filtering off. Anything else I can do?

It is obvious that transform node is calculating something more complex than I could ever imagine.
Moving VDBs SLOW!?!?

animating at OBJ level is dangerous, if you plan to export this stuff the transforms at OBJ level
Are not accounted for. If you use a vol vis SOP and set viewport Max Vis Res to 64-128 you will still see
reasonable detail and have very good performance, without the dangers or animation limitations of OBJ level.

Problem occurred when I added transform and animated it. Without transform animation it is all good, but when it moves, it is getting very slow very quickly. Any solution for that? OBJ level transform animation isn't slowing down at all. It is very fast and I am glad on this project I don't have to export anywhere.
