Hi there,

I was having issues with Karma XPU instantly crashing my PC. It seems it was a Windows update (see related forum posts). I think (and hope) this is fixed in the latest Windows update based on the renders that I've re-attempted so far. But please correct me if I'm wrong.

January 17, 2026—KB5077744 ← Problematic
January 24, 2026—KB5078127 ← Works (as far as I can tell?)

KB5074109 is the one causing the crashing for me.

attached is a repro kit that we've passed on to Microsoft. Are you able to repro the issue with this?
