Newcomer from Maya and XSI looking for info on how to recreate the various blendshape (e.g. facial animation) workflows in Houdini… not having much luck with docs or included examples discussing these basic and yet very important animation methods.
Thanks so much!

The recommendation that I have made to all my students, who invariably have exposure to some other software, is to concentrate on learning Houdini.
The constant effort to do things in houdini, the “maya” way or the “3dsmax” way is a distraction and hinders the ability to grasp the unique, basic principles of how houdini works.
As well, the effort to duplicate how other software does things means you are missing the particular strengths of houdini.
