Refresh textures in viewport won't work

I tried texcache, deleting OpenGl cache but nothing works, texture is not updated at all in viewport. It forces mo to rerender every time to rpeview change. Latest stable build. What else I could try?

Its in my top ten of most annoying bugs presently and needs fixing. to get round the issue I make a v01 and v02 texture and keep toggling > painful I know.

does texcache -c work when you're in wireframe?

No. Is it possible that problem is with my graphic card? GTX570, latest drivers. I also can not get AO show in viewport at all.

The textures for the viewport are in the GL cache (glcache -c). The ‘texture cache’ is more for raw images, and unfortunately is a bit misleading now. It used to contain viewport textures in H10 and lower.

Ambient Occlusion hasn't been reenabled for the GL3 viewport, and this is on the TODO, but it's relatively a simple task.
