In 19.5 the 3d objects were sticking to the camera BG image. In 20.0 the BG image only zooms and does not translate together with the 3d scene. Is there a setting to change that? thanks.

Not sure what you mean by "stick". I did a quick try and the camera background image stayed put when I zoomed and panned the locked camera in both 19.5 and 20.0.

Ah, ok I can reproduce now but I have no idea what the expected behaviour for this. Please log a bug by emailing support or filling this form: https://www.sidefx.com/bugs/#/create/ [www.sidefx.com] ... Make sure to include your video and that you need to enable the 2D Pan and Zoom in the View viewport state, and make sure that the camera transform is not locked in the viewport.

EDIT: The bug submission form is always available at the top of this website under Support > Report a Bug/RFE

its very useful for modelling and exact placement of elements into the scene. i used to use an external tool for that before the feature was added to houdini

so hoping we can somehow switch back to the previous mode too.

logged and thanks.
