alfred + COPs workflow? Aug. 19, 2008, 4:03 p.m.
I'm rendering an image into MPlay with alfred+prman using a bunch of machines, and it's working great. I was just starting to look at COPs and was hoping I could point a render COP at my alfred ROP and things would just work, but no such luck.
Is there a way to route alfred output transparently into a compositing network? Or should I switch to rendering to a file, and then read the file back into the comp network? (Windows/H9.5.170/RMS1.0.1)

The Alfred ROP in H9 currently needs to be customized to minimize wait-times for interactive rendering, though; it's currently setup to submit jobs intended for offline rendering.
Jason: would you mind elaborating on this customization?
