ForEach loop June 18, 2013, 5:06 p.m.

Something like this, the simpler “copy stamping” technique is probably sufficient. Once you learn that, the For Each SOP will probably make more sense as well since it also uses stamping.

Alright, I took my time to figure out how I could combine this into my work but sadly I have no idea what I was doing. Long story short; I had no idea what I was doing.

I also followed this tutorial http//vimeo.com/7346925 [http] of a foreach loop which cleared up some bits but I still don't understand how to combine it.

I could do it the long way and make a copy node for each staircase but that'll probably be my last resource if I really can't figure this out x).

Thanks, I'll give that a shot. )

Hello,

I am fairy new to houdini and got myself a bit stuck. My goal is to be able to change the stair with a switch (which I got) and once you have chosen the path it'll create a platform on top of it (where the stairs end).

I got most of it right now however it does not loop. I am trying to get a working ForEach node in it but I'm doing something wrong and I do not know what.

Could anyone give me a push into the right direction?

Thanks in advance!
